Bu hafta sizinle instagram üzerinden yeni tasarladığım küçük “hexies” çantaları paylaştım.  Bu küçük altıgenler İngilizce’de “hexies” olarak geçiyor ve patchwork’te çok kullanılan bir model. Ben küçük çantalarımı bu sefer bu hexieslerle renklendirdim.

Aslında dediğim gibi pathcwork uygulamalarında bunlar çok kullanılıyor, ben de patchwork mantığında altıgenlerimi yaptım. Öncelikle kartondan kenarları 1 cm olan bir altıgen çıkardım. Sonra da renkli kumaşlarımdan küçük parçalar kestim, bu kartonu kumaşla kaplar gibi yapıp üzerinden ütüyle geçip elimdeki küçük kumaşların altıgen şeklini almasını sağladım.

Sonrasında da çantamın ana kumaşına bu altıgenleri yerleştirip kenarlarından dikiş makinesi ile geçtim.

Çanta içi kullandığım ölçülerse her zamanki gibi 22×36 cm ve fermuarım da 20 cmdi.

Hello,

This week, I shared with you the little “hexies” pouches I just designed on Instagram. These small hexagons are referred to as “hexies” and are a very common pattern in patchwork. This time I designed my small bags with hexies.

Actually, as I said, these are used a lot in pathcwork applications, so I made my hexagons in patchwork logic. First, I made a hexagon with sides of 1 cm from cardboard. Then I cut small pieces out of my colored fabrics, pretending to cover this cardboard with cloth, go over it with an iron and let the small fabrics take the shape of a hexagon.

Then I placed these hexagons on the main fabric of my pouch and passed the edges with a sewing machine.

The dimensions I used inside the bag were 22×36 cm as usual and my zipper was 20 cm.
